Just so’s there’s no question – We are currently playing two (2) weekly shows:
1) Wednesday nights at The Happy Ending in Hollywood, CA – 7038 Sunset Blvd @ LaBrea. We begin right around 10pm.
B) Thursday nights at Re$iduals in “The Valley”. Ventura Blvd @ Vineland. 9:30pm.
We hope to see you there. We’ve added new songs. The lovely and talented Morgana hosts the Wednesday night festivities and is way easy on the eyes!

Re$iduals

When we were child stars, we could take any residual check that was less than $1.00 to a place called Re$iduals in the Valley, show our fake ID’s and get a drink.
Those days are gone… The fake ID’s and getting a drink for a sub-one-dollar residual. We know why the fake ID stuff is over… We don’t need fake ID’s now that we’re over the hill and not drinking. Regarding the drink for the residual, that probably has something to do with the fact that most residuals these days are less than a buck.
We have the most awesome Screen Actors Guild to thank for that.
On the other, less bitter, hand… Every Thursday night at Re$iduals, you can spend NOTHING and sing with a live band consisting of three guys named Corey: Corey Feldstein, Corey Hardt and Corey Hamm’s brother, Corey Hamm.
The fun begins right around 9:31pm. (9:30 is so Wednesday night) and lasts until we can’t play any more.
There are constant battles regarding noise in the area, so if you don’t like your music really loud, then this is the night for you because we play SOOO SOFTLY, it’s almost like praying.

She’s Out Of My League

Paramount Pictures and Casino is doing an event tomorrow at the Happy Ending Restaurant and Pickle Factory with us for their movie “She’s Out Of My League”.
One of the characters is in a Hall y Oates tribute band so if you sing the one Hall et Oates tune we know (Maneater… is there any other Hall und Oates tune?) not only will you have sung with the finest Live Karaoke Band in the UNIVERSE, you will get a free pass to see She’s Out Of My League and $40,000. But you won’t really get $40,000. I made that up, see.
We did an event with them for She’s Out Of My League this past Monday Night at the Cafe Boogaloo Cafe & Diner and it was pure insanity.
In other news, the good peeps at the Happy Ending Bar, Restaurant & Loan have promised us a stage and new sound system so when you sing, instead of feeling disappointed and sad, you will be able to hear yourself. The audience will be able to hear you, ass well.
And that’s all we care about, which is why Corey plays with brushes and Corey and I (Corey) play with our little amplifiers instead of our mountainous stacks of hotness.
Now you will be truly rock (or mellow & peaceful if you sing Imagine).

I don’t know how we missed this one…
CAFE BOOGALOO – MONDAY NIGHTS
We’re starting a brand new gig (for us, at least) on Monday Nights at a place in Hermosa Beach called “CAFE BOOGALOO”.
It has nothing to do with the movie “Breakin’ II – Electric Boogaloo”, but we won’t hold that against them.
It does, however, have a STAGE and a KICKING P.A. – Two things that each and every Corey dreams about.

Sid reminds us a whole lot of us. Except he’s dead. But, there are oodles of parallels if you just sit back and think about them.
That’s why we’ve added his version of the Paul Anka classic “My Way” to our ever-growing list o’ tunes.
Maybe this week, you’ll sign up (early, so you actually get to sign up) and pick “My Way”, rock the house, kill your girlfriend and then O.D. Then, a few years later an actor who will disappoint everyone by turning out to be the biggest ham this side of your local Honeybaked outlet, will play you in a romanticized version of your stupid, obvious and ultimately pathetic life only the movie will just romanticize it more but we’ll all really know that you blew it completely and were no better than the dinosaur rock stars you were supposed to kick out of the business.
